Produce fish moulding

For the "fish" casting object, mix about four tablespoons of Raysin with water to make a smooth, creamy mixture and pour this into the casting mould provided, up to the edge, so that the fish fills the entire mould.
This will give you a clear and clean result.

Leave the mould to rest for about 30 minutes - then you can carefully remove the fish from the mould.
Give it a further two hours to dry completely. If the finished fish has rough edges, you can smooth them out slightly with some sandpaper. Smoothing gives the fish the perfect surface.

Making stylish storage compartments from wooden blocks

For the base of your creative gift idea, glue four craft blocks together on the long, narrow side with handicraft glue.
Glue another block on top of the first block on edge as a frame.
Place the moulded fish on your wooden block base. This way you can see where the second block needs to be glued on as a frame.

To create another edge (for the test tube), glue one block upright in front of the last block. Leave the glue to dry. Then coat everything with VBS acrylic varnish (protective varnish).

Decorate the test tube with transfer foil

Cut out the desired motif from the transfer foil and soak it in lukewarm water for about 20 seconds.
As soon as the backing paper comes off, carefully remove the film and place it on the test tube.
Gently wipe over it with a cloth to remove any air bubbles and ensure a smooth finish.

You can add another motif to the front of the "block gift wrappings". To do this, it is important to coat the blocks with varnish beforehand.

Final assembly and decoration

Label the moulded fish with a black, opaque marker: you can immortalise creative messages or the name of the recipient on it.
Fill the prepared test tube with money and place all the components in the self-designed gift wrappings.
Cut a sprig of eucalyptus and decorate it with a piece of jute cord.

Use the cord to tie a decorative bow around the gift wrappings and place the eucalyptus branch on top. This will give your gift idea a decorative, natural touch.
