This is how the beautiful lanterns are made:
Download the templates and print them out, they will now serve as a template. Now transfer the outlines of the lanterns onto black photo card. Cut out the lanterns. The best way to do this is with a pair of tweezers or a cutter knife.
Cut the transparent paper to fit each lantern and stick it behind each photo cardboard lantern.
Now you can decorate your windows as you like. Use more photo cardboard to cut a rope as a "hanging cord" for the lanterns. This way you can make the lanterns look as if they are hanging. Or you can "stand" them decoratively in the window.
