How to make the cute penguins:
Lightly dab the cones with white craft paint to give them a snowy look.
While the cones are drying, paint the heads. Tip: This is easier if you put the polystyrene balls on bamboo skewers. First paint the back of the head in black. In the middle of the face, continue the black in a stripe to about the middle (see illustration). For the eyes, paint on two black dots, into which, after drying, a small light reflection dot in white is added with the help of a bamboo skewer. If desired, a light cheek red can be dabbed on with a little pink paint.
Take the templates to hand and transfer the wings, feet and beaks onto the corresponding foam rubber sheets and cut them out.
Place the pegs on the feet with hot glue and glue the wings to the sides.
Fold the beaks and glue them to the heads and then place them on the pegs and fix them with glue.
Make winter accessories from the chenille wires as follows:
Ear warmers: twist two different coloured chenille wires around each other and bend them into "snails". Glue two of them together with another piece of chenille wire and attach the resulting ear warmer to the penguin's head.
Hat: Twist two different coloured chenille wires around each other and bend them into a large "snail". Adapt this to the curvature of the head and glue it on. You can also glue on a small piece of chenille wire as a "pom-pom".
Scarf: Twist two different coloured chenille wires around each other and put them around the penguin as a scarf.
