Making guardian angels from figurine cones is a fun, creative and enriching craft activity. The homemade guardian angels are a loving gift idea for any occasion, for example for a birth, christening, birthday... They are also an atmospheric decoration for your home, perfect for the Christmas and winter season.
So let's dive in together and learn how to make these adorable guardian angels that radiate warmth and joy.
You can make five guardian angels with our craft kit. In addition to the materials included in the set, you will need scissors, a black fineliners, a hole punch and hot glue.
1.
Firstly, colour the body of the figure white. Allow it to dry thoroughly and apply a second and possibly a third coat so that the colour covers well.
2.
The next step is to create the angel wings. To do this, take a wooden spatula and stick two more across it. Glue the finished angel wings to the cone.
3.
Take the aluminium wire for the halo and cut off about 30 cm. Wrap the wire around the head three times and twist the ends. Fix the halo to the back of the head with an adhesive dot.
4.
Now you can complete your guardian angel with a message. Cut out the motif templates for the tags. Transfer them to the cardboard and cut them out. Write the message of your choice and punch a hole in it.
5.
Finally, tie the message around the angel's neck. Cut about 30 cm off the bamboo cord and pull it through the hole. Tie a bow and knot the ends of the cord. Your guardian angel is finished.
Have fun making it!
