First, prime the rose pot and the saucer with the grey-brown craft paint. Once dry, coat the whole thing with crackle varnish. As soon as this has dried, continue with the antique white craft paint, which is also applied to the rose pot and saucer.
To create a nice "tearing effect", it is important to paint in one direction with the brush.
Now tear the desired motifs out of the napkins. Once everything is dry, coat the rose pot and the saucer with napkin varnish. Then stick the top printed layer of the napkin on top and coat it again with napkin varnish. Finally, seal the rose pot and saucer with weatherproofing.
Next, paint a sheet of embossed foil with antique white craft paint. Allow the paint to dry completely. Stick the top printed layer of the napkins on as explained above. Once dry, cut out individual motifs with the tweezers scissors. Then place them on the VBS special mat with the motif facing downwards and press them into the embossing foil in a circular motion using the embossing pen. This creates a fascinating 3D effect.
Now fix the butterflies to the terracotta pot using the VBS handicraft glue.
