Paint the edges of the wooden stars with craft paint in the colours pastel olive green and fig. Paint the antlers of the moose in the same colours. Once dry, use a bamboo skewer to dab small dots on the antlers in the other colour. Allow the paint to dry thoroughly.
Coat the wooden stars with clear varnish. This coat of varnish accentuates the grain of the wood. Wait until this coat is also dry. Then screw the candle holders onto the stars.
Glue the moose to the stars with handicraft glue and place your pillar candles in the grommets.
