In order to be able to work on the crown easily, it is recommended to adjust the hair band to a larger
Polystyrene ball and then stick it onto a cup or
Terracotta pot to put. Start now with small
Polystyrene balls with a
Polystyrene cutter to cut into slices. These form the basic structure for the shell crown. Glue the polystyrene slices
to the hair band with a little
hot glue. Now glue the
mussels bit by bit to the Polystyrene balls hair band. You can easily
fill up the spaces between them with the beads. Of course, you can also glue other
decorative elements to the crown as you wish. Optionally you can
spray the crown with some spray glue and sprinkle it with glitter
The mermaid theme doesn't suit you? Such a crown can be just as well combined with
artificial flowers, plants or
Feathers design. Likewise a hair band can be integrated into a carnival costume, e.g. as a feeler, for animal ears or as a crown.
