Here'show it works
For a potholder made of one fabric, transfer the entire pattern twice to your desired fabric (in our case the red fabric) using a line-ex pen. For a potholder made of fabrics, transfer the three individual parts twice each to your desired fabrics (the blue fabrics in the example). Cut out the individual pieces and sew the blue blanks together to form a circle. Then iron the seam allowances apart.
Now iron all four fabric panels onto the iron-on fleece and then onto the fleece line and cut them out again exactly. The iron-on fleece prevents the fabrics from fraying later
Place the individual parts left to right on top of each other and sew everything together with a tight edge. At the upper edge, place the lace between the Thermolam layers. As a hanger, tie a loop from Satin ribbon with a bow and sew it on by hand.
