Practical hot glue gun from Pattex from the "Made@Home" product series including 6 Pattex hot sticks. Ideal for decorating, repairing, crafting and DIY.
Whether you want to glue wood, paper, cardboard or metal, this hot glue gun with corresponding hot glue sticks is always the right tool. The liquid glue can be perfectly applied with the hot glue gun and the short time to dry allows a quick and precise work.
Simply insert a hot stick (Ø approx. 11 mm) into the device and then connect the glue gun to the mains and place it on a fireproof base. The heating phase (approx. 8 - 10 minutes) begins. By pressing the trigger, the hot stick is always transported further to the front and the liquid glue is pressed out of the glue nozzle. Now the gluing can begin.
Hot glue gun is also indispensable in the floristic field. Wreaths or metal rings can be transformed with hot glue and appropriate plastic flowers or dried flowers very quickly into dreamlike decorations.
Please follow the safety instructions of the manufacturer.
Tips to use:
Applicable to: Almost all surfaces. Except soft PVC, polyethylene and polystyrene on polystyrene.
Apply with: Hot glue gun.
Preparations: Provide a fireproof base, insert the hotmelt stick into the device and connect the hot glue gun to the mains. Observe the heating time of approx. 8 - 10 minutes. The surface to be glued should be clean and free of dust and grease.
Processing of material: By pulling the trigger, always move the hot glue stick in the gun further forward to press the glue out of the glue nozzle. The liquid glue can be dosed according to the pressure on the trigger. In this way, both small precise as well as large-area glue spots can be created. Then place the joint to be bonded into the still liquid adhesive and press on. For flexible substrates, the glued areas should be applied in a zigzag pattern.
Time to dry: As soon as the adhesive has cooled down, full adhesive strength is reached. This takes about 2 minutes.
Work to finish: Do not remove glue sticks that have been started from the gun, as this can cause damage to the mechanics. Disconnect the device from from the mains and allow it to cool down completely.
This is to be noted: Glue residues can be removed again only mechanically or by heating. The removal of adhesive stains from textiles can be assisted by cooling to -18 °C. When bonding polystyrene, apply the adhesive to the other material!
