How to model the stars:
First protect your workspace by placing a VBS handicraft mat underneath, for example. Then take some of the modelling clay and knead it thoroughly. Pack the rest of the modelling clay in an airtight container. Roll out the modelling clay with the acrylic roller to a thickness of approx. 0.5 cm. Cut out stars of different sizes. Make small holes in the stars with the potter's needle so that you can attach a ribbon to them when they have dried. Leave the shapes to dry for several hours. Turn them over in between with the help of the polishing tray. Depending on the thickness, the time to dry is between 6 - 15 hours.
After drying, coat the stars with gold leaf priming milk. After about 20 minutes, the surface is ready for 1 to 24 hours. Gently place the leaf metal on the surface with the help of a brush or cloth and press it on carefully.
After drying, the residue can be removed with a dry brush. Allow the decorated stars to dry for at least 24 hours before coating them with the protective lacquer. The protective varnish is surface-dry after about 30 minutes.
Cut some of the cord and pull it through the star. Tip: You can also divide the cord into several strands so that it is thinner. For some of the stars, thread the charm decoration pendants "feathers" onto the cord. Knot the ribbons to make a decoration pendant.
The gift tags can be individually labelled with the Posca marker as desired.
