Glue a tray according to your needs.

In our example, we first glued a frame made from a total of 8 craft blocks. To do this, glue 2 blocks together 4 times on the short, narrow side. Then glue them together to form a square.

The inner part of the frame is finished with blocks by sawing 2 cm off some of the blocks. Glue the blocks to the outer edge (as shown in the picture) as a border.

Glue another frame upright on the tray at a distance of approx. 2 cm from the edge.

For the elevation, glue 4 blocks together to form a square. Glue more blocks on top. When the desired height is reached, the square opening is glued shut with blocks. Glue another edge on top. The raised section can then be turned round.

Coat everything with wood stain and leave to dry. Finally, coat everything with VBS acrylic varnish.
