The light bulbs are designed with the
decopatch technique. To do this, tear the folded sheets into small pieces and apply them to the light bulbs with napkin varnish and a brush. After gluing, paint over everything with another layer of napkin varnish. This not only acts as a glue but also gives the homemade balloon an even silky matte look.
Paint the circuit boards and terra cotta pots
gold, twist a hanging loop into each circuit board.
You will need 2 strands of
cotton cord per bulb. Cut them long enough and glue them as a cross on the bulb, fix a gold painted sinker over it. Draw a bead on each strand, attach each at the same height with a knot at the bottom and glue it to the bulb.
Fill the
clay pots with plug foam, arrange some baby's breath and moss on them, fix them with some hot glue. Wrap each clay pot rim (as seen in the decoration example) with the decorative ribbon with linen edge. While doing this, pull the cotton cords through the tape and place a bead on each as a finishing touch. Knot the ends of the cords.
Important: adjust the clay pots so that they hang straight. Finally, you can cut off the ends of the cotton cords that are too long.
