Mark your personal favourite place with this nautical sign. With matching nautical colour and the corresponding template, you can easily create a beautiful decoration to hang up.
First paint the inside of the plank sign with the VBS craft paint turquoise blue. Then trace the "grooves" with the white Posca marker. Now place the template on the plank sign with spray adhesive and dab the anchor with the corresponding structure paste.
Now print out the template and transfer it to the sign with graphite paper. Trace with the Posca marker here too. Next, glue a jute ribbon to the edge with craft glue and then glue some dried flowers "Phalaris" to the left and right with craft glue.
Next, remove a ribbon from the VBS pendant flip flops and paint them with red craft paint. Once the paint is dry, draw lines on the flip flops with the Posca marker. Then thread a coloured jute ribbon through the pendants and knot it at the back.
Tip: To prevent the tip of the jute ribbon from fraying when threading through the holes, you can fix it with a piece of adhesive tape.
Knot three approx. 1 metre long jute strings to the hanging eyes of the plank sign for hanging. Finally, knot the pendant flip-flops to the suspension eyelet from behind as well and fix the strings to the back with a little craft glue.
