Here's how it works:
Cut the wool into 28 threads of equal length.
Take 14 threads in the middle and tie them with a loop to a Bag handle so that 28 threads of the same length are next to each other.
Knot 4 weaver's knots with 4 threads each, so that 7 strands are knotted next to each other.
Then leave out the two outer threads and tie another 4 weaver knots offset with the middle threads.
With a distance of approx. 8 cm connect the outer threads of each knot (knotting threads) with an overhand knot, let the inner threads (guides) hang.
Hang the two bag handles together for easier working.
Tie the two outer threads of the bag handles together with 4 weaver knots so that both parts are connected with each other, then also connect the threads on the sides with overhand knots.
At last connect two threads lying side by side after approx. 14 cm with overhand knot.
For the ticking cut the Cotton fabric to 60 x 45 cm, fix a 1 cm wide hem on the short side with Pins and sew around.
Fold the blank right sides together, fix the pages with Pins and sew them together up to the hem.
Thread the elastic and sew the hem together, pulling the elastic tight.
Turn the ticking over, insert it into the macramé pocket and sew it along the handles.
Fix the lowermost knots with a few small stitches to the fabric.
