To finish the loop, you must now cast off all stitches:
Wrap the thread once around the first peg and lift the bottom stitch over the newly created stitch. Repeat this also for the second peg.
Then chain the first stitch by lifting it over the pin of the second stitch. Wrap the wool thread around this peg and again lift the lower stitch over the upper one.
Now move the remaining stitch one peg further to the left, so that you now have one stitch less on the hoop. The two stitches to the left of this gap now form another pair for casting off: Wrap the wool thread around the left peg, lift the lower stitch over the upper stitch and then the newly knitted stitch over the right peg. Knit both stitches together here too, wind a safety loop, lift the lower stitch over the upper one again and move this last worked stitch one peg to the left.
Continue in this way until you have cast off all the stitches of the hoop.
Detach the last loop from the pin and pull the thread through. Sew the end thread with the needle.
