Who does not know this: you buy a pair of new shoes and the cardboard box usually ends up in the waste paper. Please keep the next box, because in this manual we show you how you can turn an old shoe box into a great table soccer table on the go in no time. The handicraft idea is wonderfully suitable for Crafting with children.
Here's how it's done:
First of all the cardboard is painted. Depending on the colour you should apply 1-2 layers of paint to achieve a covering result.
Tip:
You can paint the cardboard with a Paint sponge Use a sponge to spread the paint more evenly on the cardboard.

While the paint is drying, the round rods are sawn through in half (We used 3 round rods for our kicker.) Afterwards you can paint the rods in your two favourite colours. Also for this you can use a Paint sponge.

Let's get the players on the field

For our kicker we have painted 10 wooden clamps in two colours with a brush (5 clamps per team).

While the wooden clamps and round rods are drying, we are once again dealing with the cardboard. We have designed the cardboard with a nice striped look. For this purpose, you glue half of the outside of the cardboard with crepe-Adhesive tape and paint the free area in your favourite colour. After everything has dried, the Adhesive tape can be removed carefully.

Now draw the goals on the short sides with a ruler and a pencil. Cut out the gates carefully with a scalpel or cutter knife.
Then we drill the holes for the rods in the box. To do this, mark holes at equal intervals on the long sides of the carton. Make sure that the sticks are placed high enough so that the wooden staples do not touch the ground when playing. You can punch the holes in the box with a hole punch

Tip: The holes must be large enough so that the staves can move easily when playing.

Finally, the rods are pushed through the holes and the wooden staples are attached. Then only is missing a Polystyrene ball or a table tennis ball as a kicker ball and you are ready to go!
