To create a beautiful, decorative fir tree from craft blocks, start by arranging seven craft blocks into a rectangle. Mark the center of the top block and use a ruler to draw a fine line from the mark to one end of the seventh block. Repeat this on the other side and saw each block along the pencil mark. Keep the sawn-off ends as they will be needed later.
Next, take two more craft blocks and mark a slant at one end, which you then saw off. Glue the shorter, already sawn-off pieces to the straight edge of the blocks with craft glue. Then glue more blocks to the straight ends and attach the sawn-off, slanted pieces on the left and right sides.

Cut a square dowel to a length of about 60 cm, which will serve as the backbone of your fir tree. Glue the individual craft blocks to the dowel with craft glue and let the glue dry completely. To ensure that the spacing between the blocks is even, you can use an upright block as a spacer.
Add a festive touch to your tree by painting some "Witney" scatter pieces with gold craft paint and gluing them to the tree after they have dried. Protect your tree by coating it with a weatherproof, saliva-resistant wood varnish. This makes the tree suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
Finally, paint a small zinc bucket with craft paint. After it has dried, fill it with floral foam and place some Iceland moss and decorative willow on top to create a stable and decorative base for your tree.
