These beautiful place sets give your coffee table the final touch. The delicate fabric pattern is shown to its best advantage on the large surface, and the diagonal quilting gives it additional structure.
Iron the volume fleece behind the blue cut, then lay the grey fabric right sides together on the blue one. Fasten everything Pins and sew the layers together along the outer edge as wide as your feet. Leave a piece open on one side, turn the set through this opening and then close it with a fine mattress stitch. Stitch the finished sets diagonally
Mark 2 cm on both sides of the white fabric for the hem and iron it to the left. Only then fix the bobbin lace behind Pins the hem. Baste the finished strips onto the sets, bevel the edges at a 45° angle and sew them on.
For the cutlery bag, place the white and grey blanks right sides together, sew them together except for a small opening and turn them over. From the blue fabric, sew narrow strips which are then sewn together with the lace onto the top edge of the bag. Sew the finished cutlery bag with lace onto the place mat.
Now make another 1 cm narrow strip, about 30 cm long, of blue fabric and tie it into a bow. This is sewn onto the cutlery bag together with a bow of bobbin lace.
