How to sew the cute house:
Pattern pieces:
2 x part A: roof
2 x part B: side parts
2 x part C: front and back
2 x part D: Bottom
First print out the templates and transfer the individual pattern pieces to your chosen fabric. Cut the pieces as indicated. A seam allowance of 1 cm is already included.
Cut off approx. 10 cm of the leather paper band and fold in the middle.
Place the two roof pieces (A) on top of each other, right sides together, with the leather paper loop in between so that the closed side is on the inside. Sew the top edge (short side) together with the inserted loop and topstitch it again close to the edge if necessary.
Now sew on the side pieces (B). To do this, place the side pieces with the short side against the short side of the roof and sew them together right sides together.
Now it's time to embellish the house. A simple motif can be applied to the front of the house (C). We have chosen a heart. But there are no limits to your creativity. How about a door and windows?
Sew the two house front pieces (C) right sides together to the already sewn pieces.
Sew the bottom part (D) right sides together except for an opening for turning and filling. Turn the house over.
First stuff the top 2/3 of the house with cotton wool, then put some sand in a bag (small plastic bag or cellophane bag, etc.) to weigh it down and put it well closed into the house. This guarantees the stability of the house.
Fill the rest of the house with cotton wool.
Close the turning opening by hand.
