Felting - welcome to the fan club!
Do you know the relaxing effect of felting? Depending on your personal taste, this technique is performed as wet felting or needle felting with a felting needle.
In
wet felting, the kneading (rolling) of damp virgin wool mixed with a little olive oil soap or mega-felter is already enormous fun. This and the subsequent shaping of the felted wool is also very healthy for the hands!
Dry fairy wool is modeled into shape with a felting needle. It is a lot of fun to create small figures or shapes this way. By the way, felting with the needle works especially well on Styrofoam molds - best to try it out right away!
Modeling felt is a great convenient alternative for classic wet felting. The felt sheets made of 100% terylene can be cut, soaked with water and modeled into shape. The material is dimensionally stable after drying and can then be further processed. High quality fairy wool, all important accessories we have compiled for you in this category.
