Are you looking for a fresh decoration for spring? Then this concrete decoration in spring-like colours is just the thing for you!
Birds from casting compound
1. Mix Raysin with a little water to form a creamy mass. Add colour concentrate to taste and mix well. Pour the mixture into the mould.
Note: In our decoration example, we used 1 heaped tablespoon of Raysin, 15 drops of colour concentrate and a little water for one bird.
2. Leave the birds to dry for about an hour. Afterwards you can carefully remove the castings from the mould and smooth the edges with some sandpaper if necessary.
Lettering Spring
1. For the lettering, mix concrete with water to a creamy mass. Fill the liquid concrete into the letter moulds. After filling, tap the mould lightly on the surface so that the air bubbles rise.
2. After approx. 3 hours drying time, remove the castings from the mould and smooth the edges with sandpaper.
Arrange the spring decorations
1. Decorate the concrete letters with coloured dots as desired. It is best to use craft paint and the end of a bamboo skewer for this. 2.
2. When dry, glue the letters to the VBS tree rings with hot glue.
3. Complete the arrangement with moss, decorative willow and Glixia dried flowers. Use hot glue to fix them in place.
4. Finally, glue on the colourful birds with hot glue.
