Colourful bunny cushions

Here's how it works:

Enlarge the template to the desired size and cut it out. The bunnies in our picture have a height of 39 cm or 27 cm, the pattern corresponds to the small bunny.

Fold the Fabric cut right to right, transfer the pattern with a line-ex-pen on it and cut it out with a seam allowance of about 1 cm with the pinking scissors
Extra tip
Fabric cuts should be chained off at the edges so that they do not fray. Fabrics cut with the pinking scissors do not fray out so easily. For small sewing jobs you can do without chain-linking.

Roughly cut out a single butterfly , iron it onto the rough side of the iron-on fleece at cotton temperature and cut it out again exactly. Remove the protective paper from and iron the butterfly onto the right side of a large cut-out.

Place the two blanks again on the right side and sew them together except for a turning opening. Turn the cushion cover over, stuff with cotton wool and close the opening with a mattress stitch.

For the bunny bobble cut a circle with a diameter of 10 cm or 8 cm out of the other fabric and sew a basting thread all around by hand. Place some filling cotton and a piece of cardboard or strong foil with a diameter of 3.5 cm on top and carefully close the blank with the basting thread. Sew this finished bobble to the rabbit.

The butterfly-Application succeeds very easily and quickly with iron-on fleece: place the fabric motif on the fleece - iron, cut out. Then remove the protective foil under the fleece and stick the Application on the bunny cushion.

In this idea the bunny pom-pom was reinforced with a piece of cardboard. So it stays nice and round. Stuff some filling cotton wool into the opening and you will get a nice 3D effect.
