Make Christmas lanterns
Cut the bottom of each lantern to size. The size is 10 x 10 cm + 1 cm glued edge. Cut the glued edge on the sides and fold it upwards.
In our example, the lanterns were made in two different sizes:
12 cm height + 1.5 cm folded edge at the top x 40 cm length + 1 cm glued edge.
10 cm height + 1.5 cm folded edge at the top x 40 cm length + 1 cm glued edge.
Stamp one of the sides of the tracing paper with the silicone stamps.
Once the paint has dried, the lanterns can be stuck together with double-sided tape. Cut a corner in the top of each folded edge, then the folded edges can be folded to the side.
If you want to hang it, punch a hole in the lantern at the top of the sides. The lantern hanger is attached there. Tip: To prevent the lantern hangers from slipping out, bend the sides outwards with a pair of decorative pliers.
Finally, decorate the lanterns with the cord and small wooden beads.
