A self-sewn dog basket is certainly the absolute favourite place of your four-legged friend. With the help of these sewing instructions you will surely succeed in re-stitching!
It's that simple:
Download the design template and transfer it twice to the right side of your decoration fabric.
Place the two fabrics together with the right side of the fabric facing inwards and sew them together at the edges. Please note the following
As shown on the pattern, leave an opening of about 10 cm at each side seam.
Rounded corners of the dog basket entrance should be marked and sewn on the fabric with a line-ex pen (as shown on the sketch).
After you have turned the fabric over, the next step is to sew the inner seam of the dog basket. Again, as shown on the sketch, leave a 10 cm wide opening.
Stuff the bottom of the dog basket with cotton wool and close the opening with a seam.
Now fold the sides of the dog basket, staple the 20 cm high side walls together and then sew them together so that the corners of the basket are formed, the fabric seam is inside the corners
Fill the side walls evenly with cotton wool until they are wonderfully soft and firm, close the respective openings.
