On this decorative Stretched Canvas one, different materials are combined in an unusual way. Fish made of colourful fabric get fins made of shimmering aluminium sheet. All elements are finally arranged in 3D-optics - very chic!
Instruction
Primer Stretched Canvas with a moist Paint sponge turquoise blue.
After a short drying time, wipe white Acrylic paint over the mosaic, then apply light permanent green to individual areas.
Use the templates to make stencils for fish, fins and eyes.
Cut out two Fabric cuts per fish with the serrated scissors, staple them together at intervals of approx. 5-10 mm from edge.
Before closing the seam fill the fish with cotton wool.
Cut fins and eyes from aluminium sheet. Use the small ball of the metal pressing tool to engrave lines on the special mat.
With hot glue first glue the fish on the fish, Stretched Canvas then fix the fins underneath and glue the eyes on the fish.
Use the different brushes to dab on air bubbles. Use turquoise, green and both colours lightened with white.
After drying still the mirror mosaic and stick Wobbly eyes on.
Extra tip:
Simply Stretched Canvas wipe them Acrylic paint with a damp Paint sponge cloth - with this wiping technique the typical "vintage look" is created automatically.
